This is indeed a great pleasure and privilege for me to assume the office of President Bangladesh Thai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BTCCI) which was established in the year 2003. The vision of this chamber is to accelerate economic prosperity through strengthening trade and investment cooperation between Bangladesh and Thailand. Our commitment is to create opportunity to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century in the arena of business. One of the significant roles of the BTCCI is the proper utilization of the business opportunities between our two friendly countries. BTCCI will always explore new areas of investment to establish joint ventures both in Thailand and Bangladesh. Our priority areas are to increase people to people contact, export diversification. BTCCI will also emphasize on capacity building programs for the exporters of Thailand and Bangladesh by organizing trade show, seminar, symposium, workshop, research etc. One of the focuses of the Chamber will be to assist Bangladeshi companies to get exposed to the high technology available in Thailand and to take advantage as such.
